Hello Reader
Now officially an OAP, I started my family history research in 1997 after attending evening classes in genealogy, and then I was hooked. Unfortunately, like most people researching their family tree, my interest started too late to ask questions of older members of the family who are no longer around.
Over the years I have discovered many branches of my family, which prompted me to use my website for sharing information. I have discovered many cousins around the world that I didn’t know existed, and some are now firm friends.
Of course I have hit brick walls, and certain mysteries remain unanswered, even amongst close generations. There is a section on this site “My brick walls” with a selection of these, where no further information has been forthcoming . . . unless you know different.
