Author - Gordon March
Gordon James Thomas March was born in August 1963 in Felling, Gateshead, the third child of four to James and Anne March. As a child his family moved to Sacriston. The village of Sacriston was not new to Gordon's family as there had been relatives living here since the mid 1840s. In 1975, a year after the death of James March, Anne remarried, into the family name of Caulfield, and in 1976, Gordon and his family moved to Framwellgate Moor.
Gordon March completed his schooling at Framwellgate Moor, and left school aged 15½ years of age. He began working for the County Council in 1979 and currently works as a sports-ground Foreman with a local landscaping company, based in Durham. He has one daughter and two sons.
His interest in genealogy dates back to 1976, and was begun as a school project.
